The skiing region Dachstein West offers 27 lifts and 51 km of slopes, connecting the 3 valleys Russbach, Gosau and Annaberg. In the valley station of the mountain railway ticket offices can be found. A ski school, ski hire and shop,

The Horn-path is the best introduction to skiing. From the freeride terrain for beginners to lawn - you have the choice.

One of the wonderful ways to enjoy the winter landscape is snowshoeing. Every Wednesday the ski school offers a guided snowshoe tour.

Larger cross-country areas can be found in Gosau (5 km away) and in Abtenau (12 km). With the Postbus you travel free in our neighboring towns.

Russbach offers an infinite network of walking and hiking trails. From an cozy Alpine hike with an beautiful view up to summit alpine climbing.

With the Horn-path you go up to unique mountain hikes or a romantic train ride.

Our most famous hiking trail, the Jungbrunnenweg, takes you into the world of medicinal herbs, orchids and many other natural resources.

Children's stations and a small Kneipp facility make the trek to a fountain of youth for your body and soul and is a great experience for young and old!
